Butchers Block

Made from recycled timber and finished in Australian beeswax.

Materials:

Timber: Most likely Red gum

Finish: Beeswax

Food safe PVA glue

Care instructions:

Wipe down with a warm cloth or warm soapy water

Do not soak and dry flat without delay.

Store flat to ensure the timber doesn’t warp.

For use as a chopping board we recommend refinishing the surface every 6-18months depending on frequency of use.

For use as a serving platter we recommend refinishing as needed.

We offer a refinishing service at the clumsy penguin.

This involves sanding back the main surface and refinishing it with beeswax.

The board will return looking basically brand new.

We source most of our beeswax from Wombat Honey in Victoria.
